The Social & Design Marketing Coordinator at Whim Hospitality is responsible for executing dynamic marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence across various platforms. This role will focus on social media management, design support, retail product development, and the creation of compelling marketing collateral for our U.S. portfolio, including Camp Lucy Resort, Folklore Spa, Tillie’s Restaurant, and Whim Event Rentals.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Support:
Support the creation of comprehensive marketing strategies focused on branding/logo guidelines, social media engagement, and retail strategy.
Coaching Role:
Provide mentorship and guidance to the marketing intern, fostering their development and integration into the team.
Agency Agenda and Execution:
Lead day-to-day agency activities and execution, focusing on social media, design, and retail initiatives to drive brand engagement.
Marketing Collateral Updates:
Manage and update all digital and physical marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand standards and messaging.
Marketing Budget Support:
Assist in gathering inputs for the marketing budget and monitor expenses related to marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Whim Event Rentals Dedicated Marketing Support:
Oversee Whim Event Rentals total marketing efforts, including management of social media platforms, updates to the website, and the preparation of newsletters, ensuring timely and effective communication with our audience.

Required Experience and Skills:

Experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
Familiarity with developing and executing marketing strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinker who operates well in a dynamic environment where no day is the same

Preferred:

Strong appreciation for great design or some graphic design experience
Some retail experience or retail product development experience
