Since 2012, Whim Hospitality has been setting the standard for events in Texas by offering all items needed hosting weddings and events. Our Event Rentals division provides everything from tents and tables to specialty décor, helping clients bring their event vision to life. As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by preparing, maintaining, and organizing rental inventory for events of all sizes.

Job Summary

The Rental Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including pulling and preparing event rental orders, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all rental equipment is clean, organized, and ready for delivery. This role is hands-on and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately pull rental orders and prepare them for delivery.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks for event deliveries and pickups.
Clean, inspect, and maintain rental equipment such as tables, chairs, glassware, and décor.
Organize and stock rental items in the warehouse.
Perform inventory counts and report any shortages or damages.
Assist drivers and event crews as needed.
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Support other departments when needed to ensure event success.

Skills & Qualifications

Previous warehouse, event rentals, or inventory experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team player with good communication skills.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends if needed.
Commitment to safety and following company procedures.
