Position Summary:
As the Director of Sales at Camp Lucy Resort, you are driven by the thrill of exceeding sales targets while embodying the spirit of hospitality. Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
    • Inspire and lead your direct reports to exceed property sales goals while ensuring accountability for their roles and contributions.
    • Foster a competitive and motivated sales environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
  2. Account Development:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with current clients and develop new accounts to drive yearly functions and long-term partnerships.
    • Promote Camp Lucy's unique brand story to increase market presence and enhance overall profitability.
  3. Market Strategy:
    • Adapt the sales plan in alignment with evolving business and marketing trends, actively pursuing the optimal market mix for groups and transient business.
    • Conduct thorough market analyses to identify growth opportunities and strategic adjustments.
  4. Team Empowerment:
    • Manage and motivate the sales team through effective incentive programs and performance recognition.
    • Regularly collaborate with the marketing team to create innovative strategies that resonate with our clientele.
  5. Financial Acumen:
    • Utilize yield management techniques to maximize revenue through strategic negotiation of room rates and function space, enhancing the hotel’s financial performance.
    • Oversee large accounts and specialized groups ensuring all details are meticulously planned for successful events.
  6. Operational Excellence:
    • Lead the Account Management Team to ensure seamless catering and group sales, maintaining exceptional client satisfaction throughout the planning lifecycle.
    • Develop comprehensive customer profiles and an effective trace system to anticipate and meet client needs, driving revenue growth.
  7. Customer Engagement:
    • Promptly address all customer needs and inquiries with efficiency and professionalism, reinforcing our commitment to outstanding service.
Why You’re a Good Fit:
  • Proven experience in BEO and catering operations.
  • Proficient in hospitality management software and sales strategies for luxury hotel environments.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets, growing revenues, and managing budgets.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ management experience with expertise in wedding, hotel, and hospitality sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse team dynamics.
